Supernatural- Skin Review

I know this is really old episode, but since I’m going through the whole series again, I thought I would blog about the episodes as I watch them. I’m gonna start with Skin because it’s one of my favorites from the first season. I just love it!

Dean- In this, we sort of learn some more about Dean from the shapeshifter. Dean has been so hurt by everyone and yet, he was the only one trying to hold them all back together. Sam left him, his father left him, and then he was all alone in the world, but he just kept going on. But he always did everything covered with his sense of humor, just to mask the pain of being alone and feeling unloved and unwanted. Dean is so strong! Gosh, I just love him.

Sam- Poor Sammy actually got discovered by one of his college friends. I think this is the point where we see that Sam really misses school and he really doesn’t want to stick around with Dean and hunt. The way Sam knew that it wasn’t Dean is really interesting to me. He hasn’t been hanging around Dean for that long, and yet, he knew within 2 minutes that it wasn’t really Dean. That is a sign of Sam’s love and devotion to Dean.

This is honestly one of my favorite episodes because I feel for that shapeshifter. He is all alone in the world, everyone hates him, he technically is a human but he’s different. That is actually the reason shapeshifters are one of my favorite monsters. I just adore this episode.

That Moment…

First off, I just want to say that this post is not fact, it’s just my opinion.

The moment that Sam really realized how much Dean loved him was in the season two finale. I mean, I think he knew that Dean loved him, but he didn’t know how much until Dean sold his soul just to bring Sam back. He was willing to die so that Sam could come back from the dead. I think the moment Sam found out was the moment he realized how much Dean loved him, and that his love wasn’t an act. It was real brotherly love.

The moment Dean realized how much Sam loves him and looks up to him was in “Fresh Blood”  when Sam tells him he’s been looking up to him since he was four. That is personally one of my favorite scenes! You can tell by the look on Dean’s face that it really settles in how much Sam loves him, and that Sam isn’t going to be okay without him.

But that’s just my opinion. I love those brothers!

The Road So Far- Season Seven Review

And Supernatural’s season seven has come to an end. BIG FROWNY FACE! How could they end the season like that?? Talk about a cliffhanger! Cheers to Supernatural for another absolutely incredible, amazing, awesome season! As an overall season, it went over amazingly well, but when you break it down, it got a little bit strange at places. In my opinions, the Castiel coming back and taking Sam’s Lucifer visions story line was very odd and it didn’t fit in at first, but then after Cas went cuckoo, everything slid into place.

The first episode was very Castiel heavy, which didn’t particularly excite me because by that time, I didn’t like Cas anymore. But the premiere got the whole Leviathan story line going, so it all came together very nicely. Then Sam went crazy…and then I was really, really super happy! I loved the Samifer thing they had going on all that time. It made me very happy! It felt so season oneish when Dean was trying to save Sam from Lucifer. It kind of felt like the writers were taking it back to Supernatural’s brotherly adoration that we all love so much. Too sweet!

In my opinion, this was one of the best seasons, even if I sobbed like a baby when Bobby died. I’m actually gonna say his death was one of the best parts of the season. NOT because he died, but because of how Dean and Sam have to move on after his death. That, and the fact that he came back! I did not see that coming, but dang, I cried and cried and cried…again!

And then there’s the finale! Holy mother of fudgin’ crap!!! What is happening here??? How am I supposed to survive until October without knowing what’s gonna happen??? This show never disappoints! Poor Sammy is all alone in the world. I don’t know who I feel more sorry for, Dean or Sam. Dean and Cas are trapped in purgatory, but Sam is all alone in the world…all alone. He has no one left! And if he can’t get Dean out…he is going to die. He can’t live without his brother!

All in all, this was one incredibly amazing season! Kudos to Supernatural for bringing it every freakin’ time!!!

Happy Birthday Sammy!

And now for something completely different. I would like to take this time to wish a very happy birthday to Sam Winchester! Our very own Sammy, our sweet, cute Sammy. The man who knew too much, the boy king, the man we all love, the man who saved the world. He is such an incredible person and he really is a sweetheart. Yes, he can bug the crap out of me and I never really agree with him when he disagrees with Dean, but all in all, he is such a great character!

And on top of that, Jared Padalecki does such an incredible job of playing him. He’s such an amazing actor and guy, and yet, we’re fortunate enough to have him in our lives! I love him so much.

Happy Birthday Sammy!

Buried under my mountain

Last week, I buried myself under a mountain of Monty Python. Such an amazing show! Honestly, I think it was the funniest show ever made. Ahh, they just don’t make them like they used to. That was comedy at it’s greatest! Oh my gosh, it’s just too funny.

But this week, I think I’ll be going back under my pile of Supernatural. Not that I ever left it in the first place, but I kind of slid into this “Monty Python” mood for a while. But it’s time for me to fawn all over Supernatural! I mean, once you start watching Supernatural, you can never stop.

Tomorrow, I have to go to drivers ed. I am so freakin’ nervous! I am literally scared out of my mind. I’ve never been this nervous before, but someone reminded me today that I could do it, and she was like, “What would Dean do?” And now I’m ready to go to drivers ed and learn how to drive! Dean could do it, so I have to do it too. I just wish I had a beautiful black 67′ Chevy Impala to drive around after I get my permit. It’ll be a month before I actually drive, but I’ll be learning all of this week and next week. I am terrified, but I can do it!!!

The Dean and Sam Story

“In fact, I think that the Dean and Sam story sucks. It is not fun, it’s not entertaining, it is a river of crap that would send most people howling to the nut house, so you listen to me. Their pain is not for your amusement. I mean, you think they like being treated like circus freaks?”

This is just one of those times when I don’t agree with Dean. It’s rare, but it happens. The Dean and Sam story most certainly does not suck! It is the best story in the world. It is extremely fun, maybe not for them, but for the rest of us? It is loads of fun! It’s extremely entertaining. But he is right about one thing, it is a river of crap that would send most people howling to the nuthouse. And just to be clear, I honestly think some of us kind of belong in the nuthouse. Supernatural seriously kind of has that affect on you. You start seeing  monsters everywhere, everything is a threat to you. There is always something to worry about. Some of us even carry salt and holy water around with us, just to be safe. We are trained and ready, but if we get anymore into the show…we’ll be locked up in an asylum.

That’s just my opinion though.
